Adam Smith

Adam BSc (Hons) Economics, was previously a senior investment specialist at Schroders, focused on technology and energy markets, before moving into the renewable industry sector in 2007 where he worked with a number of leading international turnkey solar developers.

He has extensive experience in the design, development, and construction of solar projects. With established relationships with many of the leading tier one manufacturers including TrinaSolar and Sharp, together with EPC contractors: Juwi, with over 2.2 GW of installed solar parks in over 150 sites, Grupo Ortiz, with over 348 MWs in Mexico and with a further 648 MW under construction.

He actively works with a number of international channels that have been deploying bankable PPAs to solar project developers and institutional funds within the US and Mexico over the last three years, with over $600m of investment-grade PPAs placed to date.
